Hot damn, let me tell you about the coolest gig I've ever had as the Executive Director of Section-1. Supporting the retrospective of a living legend, Ralph Steadman, that's what! If you don't know who Ralph is, let me educate you real quick - he's the mastermind behind the iconic illustrations in Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," and a whole bunch of other crazy, wild and totally Gonzo pieces.

And guess what? My role at Section-1 gave me the opportunity to provide a $500,000 sponsorship for the Ralph Steadman Retrospective, man! And it wasn't just the money, baby. Me and our fearless leader, Chip Watkins, were all in on the marketing and event support for the tour. Gallery shows in Miami Art Basel, LA, Chicago, New York, and beyond. It was an absolute blast.

Meeting Johnny Depp, now that was cool and all, but supporting the retrospective of a living legend? That's the kind of stuff dreams are made of. I still get shivers just thinking about it. If that ain't Gonzo, I don't know what is!
